About Us

Hi, I’m Gina. I am passionate about supporting the process of self-love through the art of eyebrow shaping. I have been a lifetime lover of all things beauty-related: hair, makeup, skincare, etc. At the same time, my deep core belief is that we are born perfect and no one should feel like they need to change their looks to fit in with a certain standard. I landed on brows because they are the perfect way to enhance the unique beauty that is inherent in everyone. My shaping process involves lots of measuring so that the brows sit perfectly relative to the rest of the facial features. Over the past 8 years of doing brows I have seen how the subtle differences create the biggest transformations. Perfectly shaped brows will restore harmony, balance and the look of symmetry, all while still keeping you looking like YOU. For centuries, women have been creating spaces where they go to nurture and care for one another, and this is my vision for the future of the beauty industry.

I obtained my esthetician’s license from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute after graduating from WCU in 2017. From there I continued my education by becoming certified in the art of microblading, a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo. I enjoyed learning Microblading because it gave me a deeper understanding of the anatomy of the brow. I have a holistic approach to life and I am focused on aligning my work with my core values. The products used at Eyebrows by Gina are all natural, vegan, and cruelty-free. My services include threading, tinting, and lamination, and of course my precision mapping is included in each service.

Microblading (e-mail to inquire) $550

Initial + Follow-Up Session

Initial Session ($550)

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow “tattoo” lasting 1-3 years and consisting of multiple tiny hair-like strokes that precisely mimic the texture, color, and pattern of eyebrow hair. This is done completely manually with a hand-held tool called a microblade. The strokes are individually etched directly on the skin underneath your natural eyebrow and once healed they will blend in with the natural hair creating a more full and defined look. As opposed to your standard tattoo, the ink is deposited in the upper layers of the skin, never fully penetrating the dermis. The client is numbed with a topical numbing cream making it virtually painless. It is a twopart (at least) process. After the first session, a mandatory 4-8 week touchup is required to ensure the eyebrows are the perfect color, shade, and shape. The two sessions both take about 2 hours followed by a 10-day healing period. We recommend that clients schedule a touch-up visit once a year to maintain the shape and ensure pigment retention.

First Touch-Up (Complementary)

The first touch-up is complementary and must be within 4-8 weeks of the initial microblading session. This is an important process because it serves as an opportunity to make sure the skin has retained the pigment, to insert additional strokes, and to ensure the eyebrows are the perfect color, shade, and shape. Because everyone heals differently, the touch-up is essential.

Annual Touch-Up ($175)

After your first touch-up 4-8 weeks after your initial procedure, your brows will last anywhere from 1-3 years. To maintain the shape, ensure pigment retention, and keep your microblading looking overall fresh and crisp it is recommended that you come back once a year for an annual touch-up. Must be within 2 years of your previous touch-up.

Threading $50

Gina will artfully and mathematically create the absolute perfect shape for your face. Threading is the most gentle and precise depilatory service in the industry. It is a chemical-free, ancient hair removal technique practiced for centuries in South Asia and the Middle East. A piece of cotton thread is twisted and pulled along the skin to remove unwanted hair from the root and shape the perfect brow. Threading is extremely gentle on the skin yet precise and effective. Threading can last twice as long as waxing. We recommend clients come back every 3-6 weeks.

Better For Skin

Threading is CHEMICAL-FREE!  Store-bought and salon wax can contain resins, carcinogenic parabens, artificial fragrances, and dangerous dyes. Although it provides a mild exfoliation, no skin is removed during the threading process. There is little to no risk for irritation, ingrown hairs, redness, rashes or discoloration.
N

Convenience

Unlike waxing, you do not have to wait until the hair is certain length to remove it. Once hair breaks the skin, it can be taken out immediately with a thread. Because of this, more hair is removed during a single threading session and therefore the results last longer.
N

Less Risk & Pain

Since threading only removes the hair and no skin, it is considerably less painful than waxing. The health risks include the potential spread of the herpes virus, staph infections, and other infectious diseases through dirty threads and broken skin. However, there is not much to worry about since a new piece of thread is used with each client and if done properly the skin is never broken.
N

Better Results

Hair is removed row by row, making threading the most precise of all hair removal methods. It yields the most natural-looking results while optimizing the shape of your eyebrows. It is not as effective on larger areas, but it is a perfect technique for eyebrows.
N

Lasts Longer

After eyebrow threading, your hair will be gone for 3-4 weeks. If you are consistent about it, over time you will be able to leave more time between appointments. Eventually the results can last up to 10 weeks.
